Fundamentals-

The core curriculum of Heroes Martial Arts, these highly structured classes showcase the fundamental concepts, techniques, and philosophies of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  The goal of this course is to allow the student to develop an understanding, appreciation and ability to train competitively in a controlled academy setting.  Safety and self-defense is also heavily emphasized in the Fundamental classes.

Accessible to intermediate to advanced students (minimum recommendation of 2 stripe white belt and above).  Assumption of the material covered in the Fundamental classes.  Medium to high levels of intensity.

Drilling and Technical-

Drilling both technical repetitions as well as competitive position training.  Advanced technical lessons (advanced means having knowledge of Fundamentals prior).

No Gi Fundamentals-

Technical training assuming the opponent does not have a gi or uniform.  Assumes knowledge from Fundamentals class already.  May actually cover anything from fundamental to highly advanced techniques.

Sparring-

Free form ground sparring (academy style, starting from knees) with multiple rounds of varying length.

Q&A Freestyle-

A loose format class where students can opt for independent study, free sparring, or asking the supervising instructor questions or advice.

Judo-

Study of takedowns and throws from the Olympic sport of Judo.  Designed to be complimentary to the main curriculum of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but a separate art unto itself as well, complete with a separate ranking system and competitions as well.
